"Marigolds" Summary Poem
One day Lizbeth started thinking about her past and in her past she remember the hot summer and Marigold. When she was 14 her and Joey were the only ones living in the house and her brother was three years younger. A bunch of kids and her went to Miss. Lotties house and ounside was John Burk her son and they wen there because they were bored and then when they got there they started throwing pebbles and chanting. Lizbeth felt ashame of her behavior after doing that and she regret doing that. Later that night she heard her father and her mother argueing about money and her fathers face began crying. 4 A.M Lizbeth and her brother snuck out the house and went back to Miss. Lotties and started destroying everything and her garden with rage. Joey told her to stop and she did. When Lizbeth open her eyes she saw Miss. Lottie, she was ashame and began sobbing. After doing that she wasn't a child no more she was being more mature.
