Academic Language Week 22 - Felons Voting

Felon should not be able to vote. people that have commit felonies should not be able to vote for many COMPLEX reasons. It wouldn't be right for them to vote because they have done something bad it is RELEVANT like if something illegal trying to vote. Also they are in jail and they probably don't have the SOURCE of education in there for them to learn who is running for president.

Academic Language Week 2 - Cars

 I would want a car to drive itself. It would be good because it can save time because it would know the right route where I'm going. People woudn't have to learn the METHOD of driving. It is good because if you give the car a distination after it will arrive the car will PROCEED anywhere else you want it to go. By having cars drive not a lot of accidents will OCCUR. This is why I think cars driving itself is better

Academic Language Week 25 - Concealed Handguns

Adult should not be able to carry a concealed handgun. People would be using their guns over reason that are not ment to shoot each other over. The situation would not ESTAbLISH anything, there would be nothing but gore and more and more violence. You don't use handguns to JUSTIFY what's right. Guns are used for other to indicate and tell people to stand there ground. And therefor guns should mot be held by any adults without a reasons to.

There should not be more restrictions on credit card use. Credit cards are use a lot around the world. If these cards were restricted it would be bad for the ECONOMY because it could lower stores customer. It helps people FINANCE things they want that they can afford. Also they are use in case of an in emergency. There is people that don't know how to use a credit card but the ones that do know how to use them and for them it is very helpful for them in life.

Academic Language Week 14 - Cloning

Cloning should not be allow. It shouldn't be allow because it can offend other religions. It should be EVALUATED before it is try on anything. Cloning could cause a war between countires. Also it could bring people that were very bad such as Adolf Hitler. People should have the right to say if it should be allow. By having this it could Equate to world war three.

Academic Language Week 13 - Video Games

Violent video games do contribute kids youth violence. The Reason is because they normalize those behaviors and make them seem socially acceptable. By kids playing violent video games they can get INVOLVED in bad behavior. By having violent video games it can increase kids behavior to a higher PERCENTAGE.

Academic Language Week 8 - Ten Commandments

I think the Ten Commandments don't belong in school. Its not a teachers role to teach religion in school. Teachers shouldn't try to CONSUME students learning about different religion. Religion and school are two different categories, religion is learn outside of school in church and school is  about learning things.  If people wanted to learn about religion in school they would go to a Christian school, thats why they have public schools.

Academic Language Week 7 - Vampires

I think vampire’s popularity will fade away. They will fade away because they are getting old and there are new horror movies and creatures coming out later on in the future. Also, there are too many movies already about vampires and all of them have the same PLOT in them. Sooner or later they won’t have key factors that other popular books or movies have. Vampire’s voices will be eliminated when other popular subjects come about. Vampires are just getting old because in every movie it’s about the same thing people getting bit, girl falls in love with a vampire, or vampires vs. wolfs. I think its time for us to let Vampire’s retire.

Academic Language Week 6 - Citizenship

Undocumented immigrants should not be given citizenship. They should not be given citizenship because they can have a very bad history and they can bring it with them and then it can cause problems. Whoever is involved in the process of getting a person legalized, should <b>VERIFY</b> that person's background before they enter the U.S. Even if they could <b>SIMPLIFY</b> the process, they still need to be very thorough with everything. Because we have had problems with terrorists in the past, they need to put the person's whole life in a <b>SEQUENCE</b> of events so they can figure out weather or not they should allow them in the U.S. For these reasons I think undocumented immigrants should not be given citizenship.

Academic Language Week 5 - Vaccinations

Children shoud get vaccinations so they don't  get sick or diseases. Parents should think positive about getting vaccination for there own health and kids. Scientist have estimate million of people have been save because of vaccinations. To illustrate these factsm to you there has been thousand of people that have got sick and even sometimes died all because they didn't get there vaccination. You might think its a waste time getting your vaccination but you never know what diseases might be going around. So you don't take these chances just go and get your vaccination and avoid getting sick and your children getting sick at school.
