There should not be more restrictions on credit card use. Credit cards are use a lot around the world. If these cards were restricted it would be bad for the ECONOMY because it could lower stores customer. It helps people FINANCE things they want that they can afford. Also they are use in case of an in emergency. There is people that don't know how to use a credit card but the ones that do know how to use them and for them it is very helpful for them in life.

Thanksgiving Dinner

First-Person Narration from Brian’s Point of View
I had a very good thanksgiving. I went with my mentor to his sister house. When we got there, there was a big wooden door and my mentor open it and there was a water fountain and a fire place. When we enter there was a big flat screen t.v. and I couldn’t believe how big the house was. My mentor introduce me to everyone in his family. I was nervous because I didn’t know anyone it felt weird. After that they offered me something to drink and I said “yes”. When the food was ready we sat and a big table with big chairs like the ones in movies. We prayed and then we ate. I ate two plates and I was done.After that we ate desert. Then I watch the game and then left.

At the Jammer dinner Mike was taking pictures with Brandon. Marcos was hanging out with Bella. Jammer was walking around being shy. everyone was walking, laughing, and drinking soda. There was a man giving a speech about his live and what he did . Lots of people were interesting of what he was saying. After a while you could notice people were getting bored so he finished talking and then the dance group came out. People were cheering for the dancers. Everyone had a good time people went to sleep in the bus and went to bed late. Some people ate too much and got sick.
Narrator Expository Paragraph
A narrator can influence how much a reader understands how a character is feeling. For example in first person point of view you are the main character and you know the thoughts and feelings about the character. Third person limited point of view is where you know the thoughts and feelings about all the characters, you see what they see. The difference between them are, first person point of view is only one character and that the main one and knows his/her thoughts and feelings. Third person limited is where you know everything about all the characters in the book/movies. The third person limited is more credible because you know what every character thinks and might end up doing. Many readers enjoy reading stories written in first person point of view because it gives them more of a one on one experience with the character and makes them feel like they are in the story. I personally like first person better than third person limited.

Autobiographical Narrative Final Draft

I always considered myself a good student, until something bad happened in my life. I was living in a foster home in Chula Vista, California. I was there for a year and had liked it so far. When I graduated six grade, I asked to go to Castle Park Middle School because that school was closer than Hilltop Middle School, which was where I was supposed to go. I learned that sometimes you have to be careful about what you do in school.
The first day of school was a boring but short day. A couple of weeks into the school year,  I began to like a girl in my Math class. I sat by her, so every time I made a joke, she would laugh at it. One time I decided to make a farting noise when the teacher bent over, but when I did that the teacher got mad because everybody laughed at her and she was so mad she kicked me out. While she was screaming at me, I was thinking of what I was going to tell the principal and holding on to the door. She wasn’t done screaming at me so I walked away because I didn’t even listen in the first place and she took too long.When I got to the office, I sat there for ten minutes until the principal asked me to go in his office. He told me, “This is your first time in the office” and I said, “ Yeah it is.” He then said, “ Alright since this is your first time I’ll just give you Saturday school.” Saturday morning I woke up and walked to school and waited for the gates to open with other people there. When they opened the gates, we went to a class. There was about ten of us there, and I only knew seven of them. We went in the class and waited there then I saw the teacher that was going to watch us. She seemed mean and had an attitude problem. Time passed and we had an hour left. I was bored so I made an airplane and threw it to one of my friends. Then he dared me to throw it at the teacher so I threw at the teacher. She turned around and asked, “ Who threw that?” No one answered, so we had to stay for another hour. While weeks passed, I kept getting in trouble and going to the office and getting Saturday school. I was getting used to it.

One day I left my backpack at my house so I called and ask my foster mom to bring it for me and she did. When they called me to go to the office, I saw the principal talking to my foster mom and she looked at me with an angry face while hearing the principal talking about me.  Later that week they said I have one more chance and if  go to the office, they will expel me. So after that I tried my best not to get in trouble any more. Everything was going good until one day in my English class I sneezed out loud because I couldn’t hold it and the teacher got mad at me because she thought I did on purpose. She told me to go outside and sit there. I got mad because she thought I did it to be funny. I started to scream and I said ,“Now I want your attention”. She came out here screaming; she came so fast I felt the wind hit my face. She said go to the office and I went there. I knew I was going to get expelled. A week later I went to school because they said they have to think about what they going to do to me. They said I was expelled and after that I was grounded for a while it was hell. Will I learn that being bad in school is not worth getting expelled. I think school is very important and you should always try your  best and there might be some difficulty's in the ways but always try.

Violent video games do contribute kids youth violence. The Reason is because they normalize those behaviors and make them seem socially acceptable. By kids playing violent video games they can get INVOLVED in bad behavior. By having violent video games it can increase kids behavior to a higher PERCENTAGE.

I was walking down threw the trees and suddenly I saw a deer so I grabed my rifle and pointed at the deer right at is neck. Then I heard foot steps coming towards us but when it got closer it was wolves and they looked at me but Georg was making a lot of noice so they went on the other side and all I heard was him screaming and then I got scare and yelled and the wolves came over to me and........

Once upon a time, in a castle there was a priness in a castle setting there looking out her window.

--Suddenly, she saw a big giant turtle looking at her she gets scare because the turtle looked so evil. She ran in the castle and went down stairs and left the castle. She went into the woods hoping that the turtle wouldn't know. the turlte was behind her and she did not know.
--Later, the princess got tired and she rest. When she woke up the turtle was there she couldn't run because the turlte was there. The turtle said I need you to give me a kiss so I can go back to my normal size. She said what I can't do that maybe your trying to eat me. The turtle force her to give him a kiss and she listen and when she was about to kiss him he ate her.
After that no one ever saw the princess again

Academic Language Week 8 - Ten Commandments

I think the Ten Commandments don't belong in school. Its not a teachers role to teach religion in school. Teachers shouldn't try to CONSUME students learning about different religion. Religion and school are two different categories, religion is learn outside of school in church and school is  about learning things.  If people wanted to learn about religion in school they would go to a Christian school, thats why they have public schools.

 The article “dia de los muertos” by author is about a Mexican celebration. This occurred on Nov one and two. Dia de los Muertos is celebrated throughout Mexico.  Many other countries around  the world celebrate similar versions of Day of the Dead as well, by  having special days for honoring the dead.
the people involve are People that celebrate Dia de los Muertos to honor their deceased loves ones and who have died. the events included setting up there alter and decorating there grave. I think teenagers should put there profiles to private. They should have them private because there is people out there that are very dangerous and can harm people. I think vampire’s popularity will fade away. They will fade away because they are getting old and there are new horror movies and creatures coming out later on in the future. Also, there are too many movies already about vampires and all of them have the same PLOT in them. Sooner or later they won’t have key factors that other popular books or movies have. One day Lizbeth started thinking about her past and in her past she remember the hot summer and Marigold. When she was 14 her and Joey were the only ones living in the house and her brother was three years younger. A bunch of kids and her went to Miss. Lotties house and ounside was John Burk her son and they wen there because they were bored and then when they got there they started throwing pebbles and chanting. Lizbeth felt ashame of her behavior after doing that and she regret doing that. Later that night she heard her father and her mother argueing about money and her fathers face began crying. 4 A.M Lizbeth and her brother snuck out the house and went back to Miss. Undocumented immigrants should not be given citizenship. They should not be given citizenship because they can have a very bad history and they can bring it with them and then it can cause problems. Whoever is involved in the process of getting a person legalized, should <b>VERIFY</b> that person's background before they enter the U.S. Even if they could <b>SIMPLIFY</b> the process, they still need to be very thorough with everything. Because we have had problems with terrorists in the past, they need to put the person's whole life in a <b>SEQUENCE</b> of events so they can figure out weather or not they should allow them in the U.S. For these reasons I think undocumented immigrants should not be given citizenship.

"Thank You M'am" Before You Read: Going Gets Tough

There is some truth to the saying “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” Meaning, you have the choice to give up, or you can acknowledge what you have already achieved, how far you want to go in life. When bad things happen in l,ife you shouldn't give up, you try again until you get it. Your going to make mistake in your life its natural but you learn from your mistake and try not to do them again. Always try to prove people wrong show that your better and you won't give up. Not everybody is perfect there isn't a thing as perfect everybody makes mistake such as teachers, the greatest athletes and everybody else. When you do something wrong you put that thing in the past and move on and if it happens again do something different.

Children shoud get vaccinations so they don't  get sick or diseases. Parents should think positive about getting vaccination for there own health and kids. Scientist have estimate million of people have been save because of vaccinations. A life lesson I learned the hard way is when my mom told me to stop put on shoes outside the house. I used to think that I would never cut my feet. Then, I step on a nail and it hurt so bad I started crying. Since I was small they took me to the hospital and had it remove.I learned that when I go outside to wear shoes because you'll never know what you might step on. So when you go outside wear shoes so you don't step on a nail or something it is painful

Dragons Den: Power Outage

On Thursday evening, I was outside the girls rec watching the football team practise when suddenly I saw Alex and he said that the lights had gone out and at first didn't bother me because it was day time. I got bored watching the team practise so I went home and they were playing cards because there wasn't nothing to do, so I played cards too and then stop because I got bored. At dinner time they mad pbjs for dinner because the stove didn't work. At study time I went to girls 103 to do homework and it started getting dark so I had to leave. Since the lights were out they open the caff and I went down there and watch the movie and talk to people. When I went home Mike, Drew, and me try going back to the caff but when we got close to the red barn staff saw us and sent us home. At the end I almost got in trouble but didn't and then went to bed

Dog Star

When I use to live in Vista with my old foster parents they had three dogs one was a Labrador and two German Shepherd. I favorite one was the Labrador because she was always so playful and cute. When I use to get in trouble in school and had to stay in the house she always kept me company. Sometimes I got into arguments with my foster parent and I was mad and she was there for me. When I was sad and I didn't want to talk to no one she was there, like she didn't judge me or say anything that was the best part she was there no matter what I did. There is a difference between your best friend and a dog your friend will be there for you but then they will ask you questions when your mad but a dog is there and wont say anything to you.

I woke up in the Generals bed feeling very tired. I went to take a shower and then change into some clothe from the Generals closet. After that I went around looking in the castle because i was hungry and I couldn't find a way out. I walked into these two doors and in there, I saw everything I wanted to eat there was fruit, salad, meat, cereal, and bread. I made myself five peanut butter jelly sandwich and grab a cup of milk. After that I went to other rooms but there was only beds in them and clothe. I saw this weird door with a shiny reflection, I open the door and I couldn't believe my eyes. The whole room was fill with treasure, there was diamonds and everything you can imagine. I took a lot of treasure with me. Finally I got bored looking around so I started looking for the exit. After twenty minutes I was still looking for the exit I couldn't find it so I started getting frustrated. I sat down for a bit to rest. Then I heard this weird noice like dogs barking and then I see five dogs chasing me. I ran as fastes I could but they were getting close and one of them bit my leg and the other once jumped on me and stared biting me and then.....

My favorite brand of shoes is Nike. These shoes make my feet comfortable and are light shoes to wear. In case you have never seen them, these shoes are light and have a Nike swoosh logo on it. I wear these shoes on a regular basis because these shoes feel comfortable and look good. If I saw one of my peers wearing these shoes, I would compliment my peer.

The Most Dangerouse Game

My favorite villain is Dark Vader. He is in the movie Star Wars. In the movie Dark Vader is trying to rule the galaxy, but there is the Jedis in his way. When he is about to fight he never backs away and you can't see his face expression. When one of his workers does something wrong he will choke them by using the force. Dark Vader fascinate me because he has a lot of power and is a leader.

I agree with you because I find these rules fair enough to everybody. We should be happy with the rules because they could be worst but they aren't. Your post reminds me of my old teacher but she was worst because she made us write alot. One thing I don't like is that we have to do everything on the computer. Dragon Den: color

A color that represent me is purple. I'm similar to this color because its royalty and awsome. This color represent my thoughts and feelings. This color is symbolic of  a winning color just like the Lakers because they are the best team. If you are around me you will notice that I love purple and black. Also this color is rare in nature, you really can't find this color in nature only some plants have it.

Conflict Plot Summary Paragraph

When I was about to go to the pool, it started raining and I was mad because I planned to go to the pool the whole weekend and it had to rain. Thats not the worst part I had to stay home and clean my room and go food shopping it was the worst day just because it rain. Thoe rain is my favorite weather day. So that whole day I was bored and later that day it stop and I went outside to play catch and I started playing catch with my foster brother and it started raining again and I was having so much fun and the rain had to ruin it.

Plot: Movie Plot Summary Paragraph

In the movie, The Hangover II, the characters are Phil, Stu, Alan, and Doug. The conflicts is that they are missing the fiancee's brother and they need to get back in time for the wedding. They are talking about the wedding and Phil ask if anybody invited Alan and everybody looked at him and said "No". They didn't want him to go to the wedding but Alan was having issues so they invited him and they all went to Thailand. When they got there Stu talked to his girl friend and she said, "Since you guys going to a bachelor why don't you guys take Teddy?"They took Teddy and they went to the beach and drank. Next morning Doug wakes up feeling pain all over his body and he notice that they were in Bangkok and Teddy was missing. They tried to remember where they were all night but they didn't know anything at all. They went all over Bangkok looking for Teddy. At the end Phil remembers that Teddy was in the elevator. The climax was when they found him and went back to the wedding. In the end of the movie, Stu got married.

First day of school

My first day of school was good, I met my teachers and I liked them all but I didn't get the class I wanted, I wanted to take Spanish but instead they gave me Social Justice. My favorite class is P.E it is the easies class ever, you don't need a pencil , paper, or need to read. People told me that Ms. Priester was going to be hard and that she was a mean person but honestly she isn't mean at all to me. One thing I don't like about my classes is that there isn't a lot of people. Also the teachers talked to much I got bored and tired but of course they talk a lot its the first day of school hopefully it wont be like that all year.
