JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 39 - School year

Students should not have a longer school year. According to Debate, "
Students have a natural tendency of losing interest or steam when studying for a certain period of time" (source link). This shows that you can't extend school longer because kids will end up not wanting to go to school. This also shows that the kids will be overworked. According to Yahoo, "Not only does cutting summer have effects on the brain, it also has economic consequences" (source link). This shows that we would need more money for all schools to have a longer year. This also shows that taxes will go up. In conclusion, students should not have a longer school year.
